The standard branded tent consists of one, three piece pole that is placed in the centre of the canopy. The pole is pegged out to six different points to provide the tent with support and structure. Then, a series of straps that attach each point are used to and pulled taught against the heavy duty stakes to create a rigid structure that will withstand almost any form of weather. The star tent is also suited to hard surfaces using a bolt down semi permanent mounting that we can supply on demand. This semi permanent bolt down system would be required to hold the six points firmly enough, The tents are even better on grass, and other forms of soft outdoor surface. The Jumbo Star Tent uses two poles instead of one to create a massive structure. It is important that the correct heavy duty wide pegs are used to secure the star tent.
